We went to Emma’s school play tonight. It was called “Into the Jungle”. Her class played the monkey’s, so very fitting for Emma haha (anybody who knows Emma will know why). She insisted on wearing her sandals with the heels and every time I took a picture she did this little pose to show off her shoes. She was standing very tall tonight LOL.

They grow up so fast *sigh*

My day started off with my son, Cole, losing one of our baby turtles, Crush, somewhere in the apartment. I found my motivation to clean and eventually found Crush. I think he was very happy to be back in the water with his little buddy Squirt. Now if I can just keep my son out of the aquarium….

In about two weeks my Kansas Dad is flying out to drive with the kids and me to Kansas. It will probably take two days to get there. The kids have never been on this long of a road trip before. Luckily my Dad will be bringing my sisters portable DVD player
I am so excited for this trip! Since I will be there for a month, it will be the longest time I have ever spent with my family out there. The kids will be able to get to know their grandparents and will have memorable moments with them.
I will be meeting my sister and niece for the first time and this will be the first time my Kansas Dad will have all his kids together. It will be an amazing moment for him.
Jon will be flying in to join us on July 3. We will celebrate the 4th setting off fireworks, since its not illegal there, and go camping at the lake. Then we will be driving back to Arizona on the 7th.

Okay, I am going to attempt writing a blog again. Since my friend Angel has been kindly hounding me to blog, thought I would get her off of my back jk
I have been reading her blogs and she has reminded me on why I wanted to start writing in the first place. It has been a little difficult for me to get started, because once I sit down at my computer and log in to start writing I become shy and cannot think of what to write or maybe I think too much is the problem.
So I will start off with the reasons I want to write a blog, think that would be pretty easy for me to do.

I love to learn! And one of the greatest ways to learn is talking with others. I love to listen to peoples stories of their experiences. They might inspire you or teach you something helpful to apply in your own life.

I love to talk! The best way for me to figure things out is when I talk out loud. Not to myself mind you, which I do sometimes, but I prefer to have somebody listening so they give me input. But I usually end up coming to my own conclusions by just talking it out or thinking some more about it.

I love to grow! Not physically, because I really do love being short, by this I mean intellectually. I constantly desire to improve myself. This also could be because I’m such a perfectionist, which is unhealthy to an extent, but I am learning how to be a healthy perfectionist like for starters realizing that I do not have to be perfect and forgive myself for my imperfections. So this blog will help me practice at being a better writer, so any input is much appreciated.
